Cox Charities Grant Deadline Ends November 16

CHESAPEAKE, Va., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications has created Cox Charities, a new charitable giving initiative that will support non-profit organizations focused on youth and education programs in the Hampton Roads and Roanoke regions.

Applications are currently being accepted for this program. Specific grant criteria, deadlines and an application can be found at www.coxcharities.org. Deadline for applications is November 16.

To receive funding, groups must serve communities within the Hampton Roads or Roanoke service areas. Eligible programs are youth and education initiatives involving science and technology, mentoring, literacy and/or other opportunities designed to advance the education of youth.
