REPEAT-HeadsUp Entertainment International Inc.: The Canadian Poker Tour and World Poker Showdown Present the Costa Rica Poker Showdown

CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/03/09 -- HeadsUp Entertainment International Inc. (the "Company") (PINK SHEETS: HDUP) operators of the Canadian Poker Tour (CPT) and the World Poker Showdown (WPS) are hosting the Costa Rica Poker Showdown at the Jazz Casino in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica November 6-15th. A series of 17 events will be held with buy in's ranging from $150 to the $2700 Main Event with estimated total prize pool exceeding $1,000,000.
"Poker tourism is a major focus for the Company", stated HeadsUp President Kelly B. Kellner, "and looks to be a strong revenue generating business unit while offering our players and members an incredible poker vacation experience. In addition to a player friendly tournament format and structure, a player's party will be held on the evening of November 11th and is sponsored by Ksino Clothing with hostess Lacey Jones, recently voted "the hottest girl in poker". 888 Poker, one of the worlds most prominent online poker sites, will be bringing their poker heiress, Leo Margets, who was this years last woman standing in the Main Event of the World Series Of Poker along with online qualifying players from around the world. Party sponsor "Who's Your Daddy" Energy Drink will also be bringing their team to the event to round out the festivities.
